This restaurant started as a business project for 2 Business students. In the summer, they sold sushi at the local Co-op and it was so popular that after graduating, they set up a Japanese restaurant downstairs in one of the founders' Dad's import-export business. They have recently expanded their takeout service to meet the demand. The place is always full. You practically have to call a week in advance if you want reservations on Saturday night, for example. But there is the take-out, if you don't leave it too late. I love this place so much, I'll easily spend 40 bucks just on me, and I'm full! In a bigger city, you'd probably pay double that for half as much. And the service is just great! Attentive and cute waiters serve you green tea as you're waiting for your take-out. The sushi chefs are simply artists. Authentic Japanese art and décor adorn the walls (the owner's dad with the import-export business is Japanese). Simply a great place and a great success story. I don't really know them personally, but I'm so proud of the owners for their business initiative and for taking their school business project and making such a smashing success of it. Bravo! EAT HERE; GREAT PLACE!
